Purpose of the programme:
Users of the System must currently negotiate a large number of screens and perform complex tasks when completing various processes, and when accessing some areas of the system. Users often resort to training material to remind them of actions to be taken in the System for a specific process. The User Interface Programme will provide a series of new screens that are intuitive and simple to use, and do not require prior training to understand. The screens will be adaptive to the user’s role within the University and their respective responsibilities, and to the business cycle.
Benefit to the University:
The UI Programme will improve usability, consistency, performance, and reduce the time spent completing various tasks. The UI Programme takes into consideration user feedback throughout every stage.
