Student Systems

CamTools is an online environment available to everyone at the University of Cambridge, designed to facilitate teaching, learning, research and collaboration.

Moodle is an open source, flexible Virtual Learning System that is designed to support face-to-face teaching with a wide range of flexible online tools, as well as providing a place to upload resources for courses.

The Teaching and Learning Services Steering Group (TLSSG), with the support of the General Board's Education Committee, has recommended that Moodle should be introduced to support teaching and learning at the University, replacing CamTools in the medium term.
